A Major Difference

AMD is the innovator of the ionic detox footbath, a popular product in the alternative wellness space.

When I started at AMD, the product was starting to reach new communities, and the marketing needed a facelift. Over my three years at AMD, I updated all pieces of written and visual marketing collateral to help the company’s presence appeal to a younger demographic.

Marketing Collateral Revamp

Aside from the Logo, every part of AMD’s marketing literature was updated while I was there. This includes flyers, photos, the website, and even the booth display that the team traveled with to conferences.

How we worked together

Online Course Development

To train their practitioner clientele, I developed a video training series available only to confirmed customers. Increasing practitioner confidence in our product. This series helped promote additional sales through customer referals.

On-Brand Writing for B2B and B2C

AMD sells to consumers who use the IonCleanse at home, as well as to practitioner-led businesses. The way they spoke to each of these markets was extremely different, and I brought this targeted approach to the written marketing copy while preserving the brand’s voice and values.

Social Media Management

Under my management, monthly followers, organic reach, engagement, and messages more than doubled. This growth remained consistent, and I doubled the Instagram follower count within only 2 years while also implementing new channels like TikTok.

Product + Lifestyle Photography

A brand makeover wouldn’t be complete without new, stunning imagery. I coordinated several different photo and video shoots to update the imagery that AMD had available for our marketing efforts. We even took new team headshots!

Email Marketing

I designed and coordinated a monthly newsletter, as well as several different automated email sequences into AMD’s customer journey. These included a welcome email series, an after-purchase series, and an abandoned cart email.

Social Media Content That Converts

In the first six months after taking over social for A Major Difference, organic reach grew 126%, post engagement rose 135%, and inbound Facebook Messages jumped 241%. Instagram followed close behind — monthly follows up 105%, and Messages up 154%. The strategy wasn't more frequent posting. In fact, I posted less than the agency before me. Instead, I focused on sharper storytelling, tighter visual cohesion, and content built to invite conversation rather than just impressions. And it paid off, resulting in collateral used in ads that delivered over a 26 return on ad spend - unheard of!
